MINIMAL
LIVING
To design a space for an average working person which fulfils all basic necessities.
I observed myself and my habits on a typical working day and made a list of all the things I do. I checked-in with others who had similar working hours.
The list of basic necessities were very similar.
I decided to focus on four of the most important points as explained below.

1. A place to cook a healthy meal.
A healthy mind resides in a healthy body.
It is important that one has a great space to prepare healthy meals.
2. Spacious work area.
Work happens across a lot of different media.
A good amount of space is required to accommodate all items.

3. Comfortable space to relax and destress.
A long day of working and playing demands a restful sleep.
Having a space to relax is important to maintain balance.
4. Storage for various items.
Different items require different storage.
Clothes, books, food items etc. all require spaces to be kept away.

Simplicity was the key-word throughout the design process.
Every single element in the space was narrowed down to the smallest possible dimension.
Market sizes were looked upon for reference.
